Task Force personnel expose lax security in Hyderabad hotels

According to the Times of India, Task Force decoy teams were deployed to check security measures adopted by star category hotels in Hyderabad, post the Mumbai terror attacks. The teams successfully managed to enter the Marriott, Taj Krishna and Grand Kakatiya properties armed with fire-arms, sharp weapons and gelatin sticks.

The Task Force personnel drove up in private cars and entered the hotel’s restaurants; the security personnel at the properties neglected to frisk them. After the exercise, the security head of each hotel was contacted and informed of the security breaches on their respective properties. The police commissioner will receive a report regarding the same.
